About David Baucom - UNITED STATES NAVY
David F. Baucom served in the United States Navy for nearly 35 years and holds the title of rear admiral. In addition to his appointment as Rear Admiral, David Baucom’s military accomplishments include having served as a White House Military Aide to President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan, and making three deployments to the Mediterranean Sea as well as one six month deployment to Kuwait.
Early in his military career, Mr. Baucom attended the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, where he received a masters degree in acquisition and contract management. He later received an additional masters degree in national resource strategy from what is now known as the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy in Washington, DC. His formal education prepared him for serving in numerous leadership positions throughout his career, including as a supply officer aboard the USS Edward McDonald and as a stock control officer on the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
David Baucom’s career in the United States Navy required him to travel all over the world. Baucom has enjoyed travelling through European nations the most; though he is a lover of Italian cuisine, he names Budapest, Hungary as his favorite city to visit.
